Greetings!



The Center for Education in Family and Community Medicine at Stanford has partnered with the Tibetan Traditional Medical College to offer the first Traditional Tibetan Medicine medical student elective in the Tibetan Amdo region, China . Our first participants had a wonderful learning experience and we hope to make the next elective even better. We will be offering the elective this coming summer from June 23rd to July 18th, 2008. (4 weeks total). Academic credit will be offered through the Center for Education in Family and Community Medicine ( Stanford Medical School ) for both pre-clinical and clinical students.



Applications are now available. Please e-mail phuoc@alum.dartmout h.org for an application.

Applications are due on February 1st, 2008. Phone interviews will be conducted the week of February 3rd, 2008, and students will be notified by February 17th, 2008.
